We understood that in our contract that if a driver misses a pick-up date we wait another month, but we weren't notified right away so it was a bit stressful not to have our piano for another month beyond expected.

Excellent customer service! Loved being able to speak with a live person every time we called. Emails were promptly and clearly answered. Our timeline changed a few times due to sale of our house in Oregon and due to house building delays in Texas, but Modern piano accommodated all our changes in a great way. The pickup and delivery crews were on time, communicated along the way and were very professional. Our baby grand piano arrived just as it left and was put back together perfectly. Will definitely use Modern Piano again should the need arise. Highly recommend them! Gary and Gina Albright

Excellent experience. Movers were professional and skilled. Though MP must limit flexibility in pickup and delivery to allow for bulk transport, they were flexible in allowing me to schedule the weeks I needed and worked with me when I needed an agent to step in for me on delivery.

When it comes to taking good care of your piano – you can’t do enough. Although it appears to stand tall and strong, the piano is one of the most delicate musical instruments and requires regular maintenance and care to continue sounding and playing well. Along with keeping its inner components tuned and maintained, a piano’s outer features also require protection from natural elements and regular gentle cleaning to preserve their strength and appearance. While your piano is in the safety and comfort of your home, it is easy to protect it and control the temperature and humidity level around it. But once it goes into storage, there are a lot of things to consider. When storing or moving and transporting a piano to another location, additional care and attention is required as this is not a simple process and usually is best handled by professional piano movers who can provide the right space, restrains and environment for your piano during storage and relocation. When it comes to family memories, there are so many associated with music made together, played together, and enjoyed together. A lot of these memories are created during holiday season or special occasions where loved ones gather around a beautiful piano in the comfort of their home, singing and dancing together. A piano that’s been in the family can revive a lot more than just memories from the holidays or family celebrations – it can take you down memory lane when you remember yourself as a child taking lessons to learn how to play this precious instrument or perhaps remind you of a time when you were stressed or anxious, and playing this piano helped you and your family relax and unwind. Memories like those should always be cherished and even if you are planning to relocate or travel, there is no reason why your precious piano can’t continue its journey with you. Read More
