It was a great move. Instrument was well taken care of but price was more than the instrument cost. Still overall I was pleased.

I moved a beloved console piano across the country in the dead of winter. The Modern Piano folks were a pleasure to deal with every step of the way -- from the first email and phone contacts through final delivery. Communication was excellent, so I always knew what to expect and what the timeline was. The pick-up and delivery crews were professional, friendly, careful, knew what they were doing, and had the right equipment to do the job. Their tractor trailer is enormous -- I'm not sure we've ever before seen a truck that big on the street where I lived -- but the driver did an amazing job maneuvering it safely. Moving a piano across the country is an expensive proposition, but it was worth it to me to have the job done properly, and I'm delighted to have my piano safe and sound in my new home.

The gentlemen that delivered our piano were very upbeat and courteous, and they did an excellent job. They delivered on a very rainy day and were concerned with wiping off their shoes as they entered, even while bringing in an incredibly heavy piano. They made sure it was in exactly the right position before heading out. Overall very impressed and pleased. Leading up to the move they were flexible and gave me multiple quote adjustments as we changed details of the move. I would recommend to others.

Piano arrived before anticipated date. Bravo! Movers didn't know anything about what needed to be done to the piano to bring it to good condition. I guess this was to be expected? I thought someone at your company might advise on the condition of the instrument and what might be needed to be done to it. Guess I was wrong.
