Recently had a player piano moved from Wyoming to Missouri. We were very impressed with the friendly and professional service and the contacts made with us as the move progressed. Amazing!

Who moves a piano? Apparently a lot of people and businesses, and Modernpiano rightfully seems to handle a lot of them. My own move of a 40-year-old Kawai Student Grand was handled in a most professional manner by these great people completely to my satisfaction, as well as that of my daughter who received the instrument 1000 miles away in impeccable condition. Service was prompt and precise to order, and all personnel involved were exceptional in politeness, promptness, courtesy, and respect. Update communications were timely and accurate. I will probably never call a different company if I ever have the opportunity to move another instrument of this caliber. This very important piano (VIP) that my daughter learned to play all those years ago, was handled in a VIP-worthy manner. Thank you for your attention to detail and adherence to schedules. You are the best!

Piano movers know from experience how to manage and handle transporting pianos but as a piano owner, there are a few ways you can help them out as well. Read More
A piano is a large and solid instrument, but it is also very delicate and fragile and requires proper maintenance and care to remain in a pristine condition. Just the way harsh winters and dry seasons can wreak havoc on their various components, very hot and humid weather conditions can also damage it in several ways if not properly taken care of.
