I dreaded the expense and hassle of moving our piano to my son's house 600 miles away, but Modern Piano Movers absolutely dispelled all of my previous notions. The move was not only affordable but completely hassle free. I thought the movers on both ends were very professional and demonstrated great care. I also appreciated the accuracy of pick up and delivery times, and dealing with customer service was quick and easy. I will definitely recommend Modern Piano Movers for its excellent service.

I was in a predicament. I really wanted my great aunts piano that has been in my parents home for 40 years. I didn't have the money to move it until my parents home sold, but the piano needed to be out before closing.(I live 600 miles away.) Modern piano was able to get the piano out of the house before closing. Because they safely store pianos until they have enough to move accross country, the price was much better and it worked out that the piano came to my house the day after closing. The main thing I was really pleased about though is because they only move pianos, I felt like they really cared for and protected my piano like I would have. Very very pleased!!!

When it comes to taking good care of your piano – you can’t do enough. Although it appears to stand tall and strong, the piano is one of the most delicate musical instruments and requires regular maintenance and care to continue sounding and playing well. Along with keeping its inner components tuned and maintained, a piano’s outer features also require protection from natural elements and regular gentle cleaning to preserve their strength and appearance. While your piano is in the safety and comfort of your home, it is easy to protect it and control the temperature and humidity level around it. But once it goes into storage, there are a lot of things to consider. When storing or moving and transporting a piano to another location, additional care and attention is required as this is not a simple process and usually is best handled by professional piano movers who can provide the right space, restrains and environment for your piano during storage and relocation.
