Having a Piano-Friendly Halloween
Fall is flying by, which means Halloween is right around the corner. If you’re scrambling to put together a perfect costume or haunted house, and are strapped for ideas, we’re here to help you through it.
In some cases, your piano can play as the perfect accessory! Take a look below for a few easy ways you can make this holiday a piano-friendly one.
Learn to play chilling songs
Halloween is such a fun holiday—the options of what to do are as endless as the flow of candy! While you’re prepping your home and kids for the fun to come use your piano as a piece of daring decor.
Set your piano next to a porch window and while you await the many trick-or-treaters, play some scary piano solos. It’s all about setting the mood this season so why not play it up as much as you can?
Decorate musical treats
Is it really Halloween without delicious treats? We think not. One way to be the best house on the block is by giving out original recipes. Do away with small, packaged candy and make some of your own!
Snacks like white-chocolate Kit-Kats paired with chocolate icing can paint the best edible piano. Or, put your baking skills to the test. Make mini cupcakes and decorate them with the true colors of Halloween: purple, black and orange.
Play the part
Nowadays it’s so hard to come up with a costume that is truly unique. If you can think of an idea that has maybe been done a few times rather than every year, we’d say you’ve found a winner.
Here’s an idea, why not get a group together and be a band. We don’t just mean pick your favorite band and dress as the rock stars, we mean dress as the actual instruments! Luckily there are many ways to dress as a piano, guitar, and even a violin—just check out some of your local and online stores!
Dine at a classy restaurant
Believe it or not, there are people out there who like to join in on the fun in different ways. If you’re not the type to dress in a costume that’s okay! There are still plenty of ways to enjoy a piano-friendly Halloween without even feeling like it’s an eventful evening.
Many restaurants take part, so you don’t have to. Dine at a classy restaurant so you can enjoy classical music that will most likely be on the scary side. Enjoy a delicious meal, and don’t forget to save room for your treat, too!
We, of course, love everything about pianos so it’s only fitting for us to incorporate them into the upcoming holidays! We can only hope you feel the same too and gathered some insightful information from this blog.
